What's CoolSculpting®?
CoolSculpting®, also known as cryolipolysis, is a body sculpting procedure that uses low temperatures to freeze and destroy fat cells. Following CoolSculpting® treatment, the body eliminates these fat cells from the targeted area over the course of several weeks. The result is long-lasting fat reduction in the targeted area. CoolSculpting® is non-invasive and can be used to target the abdomen, arms, flank, thighs, back, buttocks, and underneath the chin.
How Soon Will I See Results?
Some results have been seen as soon as four weeks post-treatment, but most results become visible within two to three months following treatment.
How Long Does CoolSculpting® Last??
CoolSculpting® results vary and are dependent upon the number of treatments received, area treated, diet, exercise and general lifestyle choices post-procedure. However, any fat that is removed is considered long-lasting.
Does CoolSculpting® Hurt? What Will I Feel?
Prior to treatment your certified CoolSculpting® practitioner will evaluate your cosmetic goals, create a customized treatment plan, and explain what you can expect during the procedure. During treatment your CoolSculpting® practitioner will position the CoolSculpting® applicators on the target fat reduction area. The device will pull your fat into an area with two cooling panels. As a result, you will feel a firm pull and some pressure. Most sessions take approximately one hour or more.
